A few weeks ago, Ash and I wanted to try a new place. Even though we have been to countless strip clubs, walking into that new club is always a bit nerve wracking. What’s it going to be like? Are we going to stick out? Is it going to be the kind of club we enjoy?
We’ve always been interested in Treasures, but in all these years, we’ve never been.
I can’t really tell you why. I think we thought it was too nice for us. I mean the club has a four-star steak house inside it. Maybe we figured it would be toopretentious. Or it would be too much like Spearmint Rhino or Saphires – two nice clubs that we have not been impressed with.
But to our surprise, Treasures was not like these two places at all. It was awesome, and will probably become our next favorite club. Since that first night, we’ve already been twice, found a sexy dancer that treats us right, and a waitress and doorman that remembers us. Just putting this in writing makes me think that Treasures will become the next Seamless and Ricks for us.
One reason we like Treasures is because its beautiful – the building, the décor, the dancers. Second of all, they cater to locals. These two aspects are basically the two most important things about a strip club for Ash and I.
When we go to a strip club for the first time, we always ask if they have locals’ specials. Most of them don’t, which just seems crazy to us, especially since there are clubs just down the street that are just as nice or nicer and offer $5 well drinks for all locals. How do these other clubs compete with that?
Well we asked our waitress if Treasures had any locals’ specials and it turns out they do. Locals can buy buy one get one free tickets (ends up being about $6 per drink) but each person can only buy two for the entire night. Now that part kind of stinks, because Ash and I can get trashed in a club, but at least they offer something.
And non-locals can buy these tickets too. But it’s not quite the same deal. I think it’s something like buy two drinks for for $20 (because I am a local I’m not completely sure what the non-local drink special is but it’s something close to this). Not as great, but again, at least they offer something to non-locals as well.
But we all know, as important the drinks are, the dancers are the most important aspect of the club.
At first, I wasn’t quite sure if any girls were going to approach us. We had been sitting for quite some time, girls seemed intrigued by us, but they weren’t stopping or talking to us. I wasn’t sure if maybe Treasures wasn’t a club for couples or what. But looking around, surprisingly, there were quite a few couples sitting around us.
Finally a beautiful girl sat down with us. She was wearing tall sports socks, a cut of t-shirt and panties. She looked latin. Had curly hair and big boobies. We talked for some time. And eventually Ash and I asked her for a dance. She danced for both Ash and I and they were great dances.

In Strip LV Magazine, and I couldn’t be happier. Not only did I get to interview a few big names in the strip club industry but I was also able to consult friends in the industry and do a hell of a lot of research, which is always great in this line of work.
I started my research down at The Palomino where I interviewed the owner, Adam Gentile. He was a great interview and contributed so much to the article. Not only did I interview him, but also our friend, Moxxie Maddron, porn star and VIP bartender at the Palomino, and Cammy a dancer at the club. Each one offered different tips for enjoying a strip club. And seeing how each plays a different role at the club, they offered a great amount of perspective on the entire strip club experience.
After my interviews at the Palomino, we ventured over to Badda Bing, where I interviewed owner, Rick Belcastro, and one of his “entertainers” – as he likes to call them – Krissy. Rick manages Badda Bing as a true gentlemens’ club, where patrons are treated like royalty. He provided even more insight for how people can get the absolute most out of their experiences at strip clubs.
And finally I got to look back at all the times Ash and I have been to strip clubs. I will straight up tell you that we have had some lows – where I am the girl that is sitting at the table with her arms cross with a scowl on my face (this is definitely a rare situation for us, but it has happened). But we have learned from these experiences, and these are the circumstances that helped us develop our own dos and don’ts for our strip club outings.
Going to a strip club, especially as a couple, can be overwhelming. But it can also be amazing. I’m really hoping that this article can give people some pointers on how to have the absolute best experience at whatever strip club they choose to venture into. Beyond that, if you would have told me that’s how I’d be celebrating my next birthday, I may have believed the stripper part, everything else, I would have laughed at.
Turns out, that is how I celebrated my birthday! And it was absolutely awesome!
Friday night, Ash and I went out to Crown to celebrate with our Porn Star Tweet friends. Alyss, Pete, Kris and few of their friends were at the club, had a table and a few bottles of vodka, my favorite. How could the night get any better, right?!

We weren’t partying with them as they had their own table and entourage, but at one point Ash and I went over to their table, and talked to Jenna for a bit and I got a birthday kiss from her. It was such an eclectic, fun and sexy group.
