2010 WTF?!

Usually I think resolutions are silly to declare. I stick to them for a month or two if I’m lucky – but old habits die hard – and I’m back to living as I was before making any new year’s resolutions. Except, now I feel like a failure and feel guilty for not following through.

Does this sound familiar to you? Maybe I’m the only lame one around here. But … it’s 2010 for christ’s sake.  It’s a new decade. I think this year calls for some new year’s resolutions, even if they aren’t kept as religiously as one would hope, I figure, I now have a decade to perfect whatever resolutions I do make.

I guess my sex resolutions for 2010 include: Initiating sex on a regular basis – Ash and I have a very good sex life. We love having sex with each other and often can’t get enough of each other. But one of Ash’s complaints is that I do not initiate enough sex. I am always along for the ride — and I always ride it well — but I don’t often take control of the situation. And sometimes Ash just gets plain tired of always getting me in the mood. It is definitely hard to admit this. And when Ash talks to me about this, I get really defensive and don’t always believe him. But at the end of the day, I know he is more right than I am. So … I want to work on this.

Trying new things – I will happily admit that this blog has pushed us to try more new things than we have in the past four years of our relationship. Ash and I have never been boring, I assure you that much. But we have had our tried and true go-to positions that are always fun and always do the trick. But in the past 4 months or so, Ash and I have experimented quite a bit. Some of it has been … different. Some of it has been awesome. But no matter how it turned out, I can honestly say it was fun to try and brought Ash and I closer on many levels.

On the blog front, Ash and I would like to try Posting everyday of at least one month – November and December were completely ridiculous. I can’t believe how little posting we did during those two months. It’s a little embarrassing actually. And obviously January is shot for us, but seriously, we are back on track. We will be attending all our usual sexy events (P.S. There are so many this week!!!) and will be posting regularly about them – pictures, maybe videos, tweets and everything else we can do to keep our readers in the loop of Las Vegas’ sexy side. Posting everyday of at least one month this year, would be a huge accomplishment for Ash and I.

So I guess those are my 2010 resolutions. I think I can manage them. Some will be harder than others, but I would like to make a conscious effort on all of them.
