AdultCon LA 2010

Turns out there was more sinin’ going on out side of Las Vegas last weekend, so the Sin City Sex Blog packed up and went to L.A.!

Everything about this trip was just awesome. Although the show ran from Friday to Sunday, Ash and I couldn’t take any time off work, so we left after work Friday night.

On our car ride, I started telling Ash about an iPhone photo app I had recently heard about called hipstamatic. It puts photos through different filters giving them vintaged looks. I thought it was pretty cool, but Ash wasn’t impressed, especially for the $1.99 price point (yes you read that right one dollar and ninety nine cents … Ash is a little cheap). But he ended up giving in, saying, “If it’s going to get you to take photos, go ahead and get it.” Btw, the reason he had so much pull with this decision is because his debit card is tied to my iPhone. So I kinda have to get his okay. Anyway – after all his bitching and moaning about how uncool this app is here’s how the photos of the weekend played out: I took about 20, Ash took about 400 all of them using the hipstamatic app. Needless to say, for the next couple days, we will be bringing you lots of visual coverage (in a very artistic style) of our time at AdultCon LA.

We got to our hotel, The O Hotel in downtown LA around 10:30pm and met up with Alyss Heart, Pete and Kris of Porn Star Tweet and some of their friends. Almost immediately I realized that the weekend was going to be crazy and I was excited to see how everything played out.

We spent the next few hours drinking and talking and going over the game plan for the following day. The great thing about the porn industry is it is full of partiers, so nothing (nothing that we’ve been to) starts very early. AdultCon started at 1pm on Saturday, giving us plenty of time to sleep in, grab some brunch and get on the road.

We met up with the gang Saturday morning at Ihop, and it was clear that not only had we missed a day of the show, we had also missed some inside jokes – including the penis game. I’m sure you know it. It seems like everyone knows it. One person says penis, and everyone else has to say it just louder than the person who said it before them. Needless to say, PENIS was spoken often and loudly! Get around a few porn stars or people who are just affiliated with the porn industry and some funny shit will most likely ensue!

And beyond funny shit, are the, what I like to call, extracurricular activities. We weren’t even past brunch before people in our group were getting drunk and high. It made for a fun day to say the least!
