For the past several months, Ash and I have had to clear our social and professional calendars on Thursday nights to attend the Porn Star Tweet parties at the Velvet Lion. But this is a never more event … at least at the Velvet Lion.

Due to some extremely unfortunate events the Porn Star Tweet Intimate Encounter and Naughty Tweet Live show are taking a brief sabbatical – leaving Ash and my calendar for Thursday nights totally open.

Thinking about this reminds me of the last PST party and NTL show we were a part of. It was quite possibly the biggest, yet I never posted about it. Crazy! I’ve been super lame, I know! Anyway – it was the night Alexis Texas starred and hosted.

Alexis is quite possibly the biggest porn star to be apart of these events and Ash and I were excited to meet and party with her.

Pete, founder of the Naughty Tweet Live Network, hosted the show and once again asked if I would co-host. Of course I obliged, but he told me I had to do some research – research on a porn star mind you, that’s got to be about the most comprehensive research I’ve ever done.

When Alexis arrived it was striking to me just how beautiful she was. I mean I’ve seen her “perform” and thought her body was killer and thought she was pretty. But seeing her fashionably attired, with her hair and make up done made me realize why so many people want to rip her clothes off and messy up that hair a bit.

The downside, however, was that I got nervous. Apparently, I’m not as confident when surrounded by such attractiveness.

The upside, my comprehensive research paid off. And Ms. Texas and I totally hit it off. In fact there were a couple times that we totally tuned Pete out, even while he was talking, to carry on our own side conversations.

I will admit, I was a little flushed and flustered being around her. I have only felt that way with one other porn star: Evan Stone.

After the Naughty Tweet Live show, Alexis drew in quite the crowd of both fellow porn stars and fans for her Intimate Encounter after party. Unfortunately, Ash and I couldn’t stay late. I couldn’t completely clear my calendar, but let me tell you, it was hard for us to say goodbye.

And who knew we’d be saying goodbye not only to Alexis Texas b ut also temporarily to the event. At least it went out with a bang – pun intended.

I can tell you it wasn’t planned at all. In fact, had it been planned, I would have worn something a little cuter, but lesson learned: always be dressed like you could be the co-host of a porn star Internet show.

Usually, I’m pretty calm when we’re talking to the porn stars, but I was actually really nervous the whole time, which is evident in the video. I keep scratching myself and fidgeting. It wasn’t really official that I was co-hosting either. It was more like Ash and I showed up at the right place at the right time. Pete and Alyss let us in the trailer and there we stayed during the show. So, even though I had questions for Jayla, I constantly felt like I might overstep my bounds by jumping in. So I was pretty quite the whole time, which isn’t normally my style.

But it couldn’t have been a better night to be in the Porn Star Tweet trailer. I say that because, Ash and I have met Jayla Starr numerous times. I think our first encounter was at the Velvet Lion when 20-year-old (at the time) snuck in and got wasted. We wrote a little about her here. The next few times we ran into each other was at AdultCon (you can read about it here and here) and possibly at AEE.

The Jayla is a little wild thing. She gets high all the time. She posts almost-nude – if not totally nude – photos of herself daily on twitter and she is constantly giggling. On the Naughty Tweet Live show, she was out going and witty. She could definitely hold her own with the king of quick wit, Pete. They were pretty funny together. But, unlike some of the Naughty Tweet Live porn stars, she wasn’t dying to take off her clothes. In fact, we went about 45 minutes and viewers were pleading through the live chat before she exposed her perky boobies – they are small but very nice!

After coming in contact with so many porn stars, it seems like every porn star has their “thing.” With Sophie Dee it was her ass. With Violet Monroe it was parody porn. With Katie Kox it was cuckold porn. They all have something. Jayla’s thing seemed to be the ladies. Birthday girl, Rebecca Love!

Ash and I had been anticipating the event for weeks. We kept hearing about all the porn stars that were expected to be there. Rebecca was trying to find sponsors and donations for Karaoke contests. And drinks were going to be flowing. How could you not anticipate a night like that?!

The night definitely didn’t disappoint! Our friends from Strip Church, Joy, Phil and Betsy Samuel showed up. Pete and Alyss Heart of Porn Star Tweet made an appearance. A very drunk Rebecca Love received a lap dance from about 7 porn stars and received a cake shaped like a pair of big ol’ boobies!

One quick question: What do you get a porn star for a birthday present? Ash and I couldn’t think of anything brilliant, so we opted for a beer and aided in Rebecca’s drunkenness.

There were quite a few porn stars and interesting people at the event. Morgan Ray, Sammie Spades, Sunset Thomas and Claudia Marie just to name a few, all made appearances.

Along with the porn stars, the Karaoke was a success. There were contests and raffles. Someone won a beautiful glass dildo. Adding to the party Betsy sang Tick Tock with back up singers Morgan Ray and Sunset Thomas. But I think the porn star backups were far more interested in stripping Betsy and Betsy was desperately trying to balance singing her little heart out and keeping her dress down. Quite hilarious! Later Betsy and Joy (both of Strip Church) participated in a Karaoke contest. Betsy ended up winning, and got $100. Lucky girl. To celebrate, Joy and Betsy sang All the Single Ladies.

The premier of the Naughty Tweet Live show aired for the first time on Thursday at 10pm here.

Ash and I have been awaiting for this for the past month or so. But it proved wise to wait. The people over at @pornstartweet have been working uber hard to get everything ready. They remodeled the Porn Star Tweet trailer. They made promos, intros and segments. We are talking full-fledged-porn-star-worthy production here.

Unfortunately, since we were at the event, we weren’t able to actually see the show. And so far, I haven’t figured out how to go back and watch it (if anyone knows, please fill me in!). But from what I heard it was a huge success.

Envy Amor (@EnvyAmor) was the porn star of the night. She was interviewed in the trailer and things got so hot that she got naked and Porn Star Tweet’s @alyss gave her a little spanking. Sounds like good stuff.

That was the abridged version of the story. Allow me to go into detail.

The night started with sushi, then on to Penn and Teller’s show at the Rio. From there we were off to The Palomino, the only fully nude strip club in Las Vegas with a full bar.

I’m not particularly into fully nude. In fact, I don’t like it, and I dislike it even more with no liquor in me. But our friend, and porn star, Moxxie Maddron who recently became a Las Vegas resident, started bartending there, and we promised we would go see her. Ash’s birthday seemed like the perfect opportunity.

The Palomino is kind of out in BFE. Advertisements say it’s on the Strip, but just because it sits on Las Vegas Boulevard, doesn’t mean, it’s on the strip. We finally arrived at the club and were pleasantly surprised.

Ash drove me out there one time, but we thought there was going to be a pretty expensive cover, and I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to enjoy myself, so we ended up not going inside. Instead we went to whatever strip club we were frequenting at the time. So this was really our first experience at the club.

I was fully prepared to pay a cover, but when we got to the door, the doorman said it’s always free for locals – something we LOVE to hear. As we walked in to the lobby, two doors awaited us: one for the female dancers and one for the male dancers. There was no hesitation that we were there for the girls, but imagining what was behind the male dancers’ door definitely interested me – I’ve never been to a strip club with male dancers before.

Once inside the club, we made our way to the bar. The club was nice. It looked clean and spacious. There were places to sit and lots of girls top choose from. We sat at the bar, looking for Moxxie, and ordered some drinks. They were a little pricy, but no more than expected at a strip club, and happily paid for to more fully enjoy the fully-nude experience.

We sat at the bar for what felt like a half an hour, but turned out to be HOURS. We were just having such a great time. Moxxie and her fellow bartenders were the perfect hosts and hostesses. To be honest, I can’t remember much of the conversation, but I know the drinks were flowing and everyone was having a good time. At one point, Ash and I looked over and Moxxie’s boobs were out sitting atop the bar, and then I was massaging one of her nipples while a man – I have no clue who he was – massaged the other.

The most recent time this occurred was at the Porn Star Tweet and The Velvet Lion’s Intimate Encounter with Renee Perez.

Ash and I arrived at the club early. We weren’t sure what was going on with the new Naughty Tweet Live project, so we thought, better safe than sorry. Nothing happened with it last week, but I have been told that this coming Thursday, the project will launch. It should be pretty cool.

This event, which launched back in the beginning of December, has been a hit. Porn star and locals pack themselves into this tiny locals’ bar to drink cheap drinks (ladies drink free from 9-10pm and after that a vodka tonic is just $2) and sing karaoke.

We have met some great people at this event. Bartenders, locals who were frequenters of Brando’s long before Karaoke XXX and porn stars.

Last night we reunited with some people we met a long time ago at The Velvet Lion. Joy, Betsy and Jessica from XXX Church came out to join in the festivities. At first it’s hard to know how to talk to these girls. They are Christians. Do they have an agenda? Are they going to try to preach to all the “sinners” in the building? How could they possibly enjoy themselves in a place with all this going on?

Quite shockingly, these girls are pretty awesome. Ash and I spent quite a bit of time talking with Joy and Betsy and they are super nice, smart girls, who aren’t interested in preaching anything but the fact that they are there to help girls in bad situations. They are not telling girls to stop performing in adult films, they are not telling girls to stop stripping, they aren’t even telling girls to stop prostituting. Instead they are trying to better these girls’ lives by cleaning up brothels – which they did last November when they went into a brothel in Ely, Nevada. They did some reconstruction to the girls’ living areas. They painted the walls, provided new bedding and a bunch of other stuff. They went to AEE, and Joy was telling us how she sat in the bathroom and as girls came in she offered to poof their hair or touch up their makeup. They give cupcakes out to the girls at strip clubs and just try to be kind and giving to people in the adult industry.

As someone who grew up in a very religious house, I tend to reject anything Jesus related. The people I come in contact with on this level usually rub me the wrong way and end up pushing me further and further away from anything religious.

With these girls, it was totally different. Ash even made the comment, “It seems like every religious group should be more like you guys.” I totally agree. Never once did they try to preach nor did they make us feel uncomfortable or judged.

I may not agree with everything these girls or XXX Church believes in. But when they’re hanging out, drinking, talking about sex and telling us stories about how they have helped a girl in the adult industry better her life – not by getting out of the industry, but by helping them pay their bills or giving them new bedding or just giving out cupcakes – its hard to judge them when I never once felt judged by them.
