5. Don’t log on in your room – I would say this is a good idea. Your in Vegas, what do you need the internet for anyways? If you want the internet for porn then the “all you can view” porn pass (or as I like to call it the “until you are raw” pass) on the in demand guide in your room will be cheaper in the long run and it’s a better investment anyways.

The climate changed less than two months later. I was all of a sudden unemployed and had a lot of free time on my hands. Ash and I made some friends via Twitter that gave us lots of ideas for the blog, and I was happy to be writing something fun.

Ash and I have grown to really love this blog. It has been a great and fun outlet for me to write our funny and wild stories from our strip club experiences. It has allowed us to be a part of things that are truly unique to Las Vegas, and it has introduced us to some amazing people, some of which happen to be porn stars.

I am not the biggest fan of Megan Fox, but she looks damn good in these pics. I can't deny it.

This is definitely not a good-bye letter or an indefinite sabbatical notice. It’s just a post to say that things might be a little different effective immediately. Maybe we won’t post as much. Or maybe we’ll start posting more about our sex lives or dirty stories to each other.

A few years ago, we lived in the very center of town. It had to be one of our very favorite locations and homes. This club was one of the furthest for us, but still a $25 cab ride (cab fair is how we distinguish “neighborhood strip clubs” on this blog because that’s how we roll). So we decided we were up for something new. A fresh adventure. And Tommy Rocker’s it was.

Upon first arriving it was nice. A big full bar to sit around. But you could tell that this wasn’t just a neighborhood strip club to us; this was a neighborhood strip club to the city. And what I mean by that is, there weren’t many girls, and at 10pm on a Saturday night, these girls made up the Las Vegas B squad.

Maybe we’ll give it a try again one day in the near future, but you better believe that if we see this girl again, we will run!

Sure I currently have only 64 friends, but I will rise again! So if Facebook’s lesson in disabling me is you made a mistake and now you can’t participate in our social networking, they failed. However, if their lesson was you messed up and now you will be punished with ultimate inconvenience for you and your friends, Facebook has won. This is ultimate frustration and inconvenience. No doubt about it.

Secretly, although not so secret anymore, I log on to Facebook, squinting my eyes, holding my breath and crossing my fingers, waiting for my friends to read 700+. So far, I haven’t been so lucky. But just you wait Facebook, oh just you wait. As I said earlier I will rise again!

It’s no secret that tourism is down in Las Vegas. Recently our Mayor, Oscar Goodman was pissed over remarks President Obama made about being smart with your money and not blowing, “a bunch of cash on Vegas when you’re trying to save for college.” And I would say most Las Vegans are rightfully pissed along with Mayor Goodman. Tourism is this city’s main source of money. Hell, we don’t pay a state income tax at the end of the year because the hotels entertainment and gambling taxes make up for it. So when times get tough around Las Vegas, businesses get desperate. Cirque Du Soleil shows are now offering buy one get the second for $25 for locals. Other shows are offering buy one get one free deals. Some night clubs stopped charging locals cover charges just to get more people in to buy drinks. And some strip clubs are now offering as much as $120 to a cab driver for every person they bring to their establishment.

Let me repeat that… $120 to a cab driver per person! This payoff technique isn’t new to Vegas. In fact its been going on for quite a while. Usually the deal is, if you show up in your own car their is no cover charge, but if you show up in a cab or limo there is any where from a $15 to $30  fee even if you’re a local. The club doesn’t keep this money they just walk it right back out to the cab driver. The club then hopes to make the money back by the drinks the patron then buys while they are there.

If taxi drivers looked like this there would be no need to go to the strip club!

About a year ago, our favorite strip club (at the time) decided they would be a rebel. In the face of the recession Seamless decided to stop charging a cover charge and stop paying the cab drivers in hopes that it would bring them more business. Our favorite waitress there was telling us that the owners had said if all the clubs did this everyone would stand to benefit. But sadly it didn’t happen. Seamless went under and is now the Deja Vu Ultra Lounge.  In fact now a few clubs have done the opposite. They have jacked the prices of EVERYTHING up at their clubs. We recently found this out the hard way at Sapphire’s. They were charging near 15 bucks a damn drink! After a tip that’s near 35 bucks for 2 people. Who the fuck can pay that and still afford some boobies in their face?!

First there were people there, and some of them naked, well into their 60s, 70s and maybe older. Not the typical demographic of a house party. Second there were people there with hardly anything on. Now this might be common at a house party. But I am talking entire fishnet outfits with cutouts around the boobs, pussy and asshole. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen that at a house party … well until now. And third, when you really got looking, sexual things were happening all over the house.
