Meeting Thinwalls

Our time with Thinwalls seems somewhat surreal in so many ways. Ash and I were pretty nervous to meet her (see pervious blog). We really didn’t know what to expect, and we were sure that whatever she was expecting, would definitely be disappointing as soon as she met us.

Before we officially met, I spotted Thinwalls one day on the CES floor. Out of thousands of people, I’m not quite sure how it happened. But I saw this girl with a sleeve of tattoos wearing a blogger badge, and I just had this feeling it was her. I didn’t get a full on look, rather just a glimpse of the side and back of her. I had already been nervous about the possibility of meeting her; seeing her in person made it worse. She was real. And meeting her wasn’t just this idea we threw out there. It was an actual possibility.

Thursday night, we arranged to pick her up, have a drink and if all went well go to the Erotic Heritage Museum’s “Breasts and Bondage” event.

We met Thinwalls at about 9pm outside The El Cortez on Fremont Street. At first, it seemed like we were all a little shy. In Twitter world we have heard about each others sex-capades and have even watched Thinwalls and @sexhero have sex. But in real life, sex was hardly a topic of conversation. Instead we talked about our real life selves. We got to know each other, and the more we learned the more Ash and I were sad that Thinwalls does not live in Las Vegas.

For the next two nights (Friday and Saturday) Ash, Thinwalls and I were fairly inseparable. We did end up attending the Breasts and Bondage event Thursday night. Friday we went to Eon McKai’s Flase Eye Lash party at Lavo followed by The Velvet Lion for the Forbidden Gems party. And Saturday we met at the Palms to spot porn stars attending the AVN Awards Show; then we went back to The Velvet Lion for the unofficial AVN afterparty.

Thinwalls is awesome. She is sexy. She is smart. She is fun and funny. Apparently she told @sexhero that I am the Vegas version of her, and I totally see that. She and I have so much in common that we could have kept each other entertained for days. And Ash, well he could have sat there and fantasized about the two of us for days. In fact, I think he did.

It is very weird for me to feel so bonded with someone I’ve only know in real life for what five days. But I think it stems from the fact that she knows both sides of me and judges neither. I can be who I am on the blog with her and feel comfortable, and feel like she is comfortable. Hell she fit in with our crazy porn star and stripper friends like no other! But on the flip side, I can be who I am outside of the blog and also totally relate to her. There are few people I feel comfortable with on both sides of the spectrum, and it is nice feeling like she is one of them.

It was hard dropping her off on Fremont Street knowing that it is very possible we’ll never hang out with this girl again. Both Ash and I hope this isn’t the case. We had a great time with her. She exceeded very expectation we could have had.
