Stripper 101

Ash got me a Groupon for Stripper 101, a class devoted to learning lap dances and pole tricks. I figured it would make a perfect column for Strip Las Vegas – seeing how (A) I often go to strip clubs and see these moves in action, and (B) I am not so graceful, so it would at least make for a funny experience. So I recently took the class, and learned some hot new moves … like the one you see here:

Ha! I wish. Let me just tell you that after learning two pole tricks (not well, I might add, and not because of the teacher, but because I am a big hot mess) my arms are still sore days later. I must say, I have a new-found respect for strippers. Always have respected them, just in more of a “thanks for being great foreplay” kind of way. I can’t even begin to image how much upper body strength and core strength you would need to do this move.
