Twitter in Real Life

Ash and I are fairly active on the twitter front. We share parts of our life with the twitter world. We promote our blog on twitter, and we have friends on twitter. Fellow twitter users that we communicate with know quite a bit about our lives, but really don’t know us at all.

But several months ago a twitter friendship became a real life relationship. Ash started following @alyssheart who was promoting @PornStarTweet. Their events sounds like events we would be interested in for our blog, and Alyss sounded like a cool girl. So Ash and @alyssheart started tweeting back and forth, and a few days later, we met her in person. Today we are all friends — on twitter and in real life. We see each other on a fairly regular basis and we know things about each others’ lives. But that was fairly easy. Alyss lives in Vegas. We attend @PornStarTweet events and we see each other at other events common to PornStarTweet and our blog.

When we became friends with Alyss, I never considered that I would have other outside, real life relationships with people we met through twitter, but I was wrong.

For the past couple months I have been anticipating the arrival of my twitter friend and fellow sex blogger, @thinwalls. She is here on business and we planned to get together. Tonight is the night. Ash and I are picking thinwalls up from her hotel and we’re all going to an event together.

To be honest, I am nervous to meet her. What if Ash and I are not what she expected? I know a lot about this person – hell I have seen her have sex – I have gotten horny watching this person have sex. That’s probably way too much information, but it’s true. This person has suggested butt plugs to me, and given me advice on having anal sex. This is far more intimate than most conversations with most of my girl friends that I’ve had for years. The relationship we share is just strange, and it makes me kind of nervous to see it in real life.

Tonight should be an interesting night. I am nervous and excited all at once. I’ll definitely let you know how it goes.
