X 107.5 & the DAM Morning Show vs Robin Leach

Ohhh my, let the awkwardness begin.

I’m still not sure how all this started, but none the less its made for some entertaining and Xtreamly awkward radio. Even if your not from Vegas the awkward vibes are very thick in the video below.

Now I know what your thinking, and that’s, “this is a sex blog, why do I want to read a bout a Las Vegas morning radio show?” And I promise I’ll bring this back to SCSB worthy material at the end.

Well, apparently (and maybe I have this wrong) the guys from the DAM morning radio show here in Las Vegas were talking about Robin Leach being a canoe of douche on the air because of something he had done to one of the DJ’s. And in this discussion they had mentioned that his career died. Soon after, someone edited the Robin Leach entry on Wikipedia and said that Leach had actually died, and not just his career.

BTW there is a warning on this entry now saying, “Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libelous or harmful.” Very funny stuff.

Anyways, a reporter/blogger by the name of John Katsilometes from the Las Vegas SUN, caught wind of this, and reported that the extreme radio guys claimed he was dead on the air and that they wrote the Wikipedia edits.

Well to make a long story longer, this sparked a few bitter and stony twitter words from Mahoney. After which, Robin Leach fired back with a bitter email where he calls the DAM show infantile. This then lead to the guys asking leach to appear on their radio show to answer for his email. Leach accepted the invitation and soon after this train wreck occurred…

Oooh gawd, you wanna look away but you can’t! There are a few hilarious moments, mostly coming from Mahoney.  Little gems like, “It was a passing tweet,”  and, “we are not taking issue with you calling us hacks, because we are hacks!”

So what can we learn from this?

I found out something a while back the hard way. I got into a huge fight in some silly forum on line over something really silly and made an ass of myself for all my friends who were members of the forum to see.  One of my buddies pointed out my silliness and said, “You know man, fighting on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics. You might win, but your still retarded.” I think that thought holds true for a lot of things. DAM morning show guys, you may have won this fight, but you were fighting Robin Leach.

Oh and Mahoney, if for some reason you ever do read this, a while back you were saying you loved it when people come up and say hi to you because your shocked people even listen to your show. Well, Lilly and I attend almost every week of X107.5′s Ms. Seamless competition (Dawn from the 4th week is our fav! Gives the best damn lap dances EVER) and you were always a little too busy to even say hi. Oh well, you were working and there were lots of naked chicks running around to distract you. Anyways, it was probably for the better for me because I think Lilly has a little thing for ya.
